Directors, DOP’s and Photographers have been removed from the specialist list with immediate effect and are now deemed as oversight visitors.
This means that Directors, DOP’s and Photographers (from visa exempt countries) no longer need to apply for a visa at the South African Embassy in their country of residence PRIOR to their departure – they will receive their visa upon entry into South Africa. This is great news for our industry and international crew.
